July 2010
Waveland
The
6th tournament of the season found the GBM visiting Waveland for the
second time this year. The fishing was slow compared to what
Waveland normally is like, but many fish were brought to the scales.
Joe took first place with five fish, each caught from a different
marker bouy. Brad and Carl Hart tied for second place, each with
five fish. Carl Hart also took big bass honors as well - it pays
to have Fred as your guide.
Special congratulations to Casey for
weighing in his first bass in a tournament! Could we have another
GBM member in the making? Good job, Casey!
Summit
GBM
finished out July with a visit to Summit Lake. The morning
started out with some heavy rain, but the rain gave way to mostly
cloudy weather with a few peaks of sun. A lot of short fish were
caught by most anglers, but a few keepers managed to find their way to
the scales. John showed us all how it's done with a five fish
limit for first place. Todd took 2nd place and Big Bass while
Joe, fresh off is bouy filled win at Waveland came in 3rd.
One final note, Jordan went left of the bouy and no big bass honors were earned this month.
